Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye Trent Yawney!

Well, something must've happened during the NHL lockout of a few years ago. Seems like the Blackhawks suddenly care about playing good hockey again.

First they get Nikolai Khabibulin, but their rookie coach, Trent Yawney, might have been dragging the team down as the new Hawks couldn't seem to adjust to the NHL rules changes nearly as well as the rest of the league.

This season they had Michal Handzus Martin Havlat, and still couldn't get anything going. Some key injuries (particularly to Handzus and Havlat) completely deflated the team. So now out goes Yawney! In goes Denis Savard.

Seems like the Hawks, despite a 7-12-2 record, really are trying. I might make it to a Stanley Cup Finals game in Chicago yet (but probably not this season).
